Hello, I’ve been meaning to write to tell you that we were very pleased with our stay at The Seward Inn on August 12-14th. Everything from the reservation process to our first “greeting” at the Inn was a very pleasant experience! All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. Our room was quite lovely and the housekeeping was impeccable. The first day we went to breakfast and returned to our room to find that it had already been attended to: bed made, bathroom cleaned and fresh towels. The breakfast buffet was wonderful as well. Your Inn is in exceptionally good condition and well managed; the property is simple yet beautiful. We enjoyed being able to walk to town for shopping and dining. We rode our bicycles along the coastal roads. Your location is much more relaxing than being in the “busy district”! We hope to return in the future.
Thank You!

Dear Nancy and family:
Thank you so much for our wonderful week with you at the Seaward Inn! From the wallpaper at the
top of the stairs which used to be in our bedroom, to the Cameron name, to your lovely, lovely daughter, we had the most wonderful time!
We have been coming to Rockport for over thirty years, and this was the best-we will be back, and I would not stay anywhere else!
Thank you, and I will advertise for you here in Vermont-as a matter of fact, if you would send me some brochures if you have them, I will put them out in my store here in Enosburg Falls. Just this afternoon my advertising rep for a local newspaper said "Oh my goodness, you were in Rockport? one of my favorite places in the world!
Thanks again,

Dear Nancy Cameron-Gilsey,
Last August (20-21-22) my cousin Nicci and I were guests at your beautiful establishment. It was my first trip to New England, and while we subsequently traveled to Boston after visiting the Rockport area, the highlight was our stay at the Seaward Inn. The surroundings were gorgeous, the views breathtaking, our Thatcher Room charming as well as the dining and living room areas, your staff extremely pleasant, delicious breakfasts, etc. -- our expectations were more than exceeded. I hold vivid and dear memories, so this is a very belated thank you to all for creating such a delightful environment. I have hoped one day to share a similar experience with family and or close friends.

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for a wonderful experience! We stayed Oct. 25 & 26 and we will surely be back in the spring. What a surprise for two people who really don't travel much and we came to the area for Halloween but found the most beautiful place with the most fabulous people. The breakfast was better than we ever expected and the service was great. We have told everyone about the Inn and just hope there is a vacancy when we want to come back because everyone we told is coming your way, too!

We hope you enjoy John Eller’s letter and we encourage you to visit Jim MacClaren’s Choose Living Foundation
"Since 1975, I have traveled to almost every state in the United States, London, France, Germany, China, Japan, seven countries in Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Puerto Rico. I've stayed at many 5-star hotels, many of the world's best resorts, and nearly every brand name hotel and motel in America. Of all my travels, one place, the Seaward Inn in Rockport, MA really touched my heart and brought a huge smile to my face. Its charm, right out of a wonderful book. Its owner, Nancy, and her personable staff, like being with happy family. I stayed there only one night, one morning, yet I felt renewed as if I had been there a month. It sits overlooking the Atlantic Ocean enjoying both magnificent sunrises and sunsets. I loved the furniture and cottage like decorations. My friend and I had just crossed America (4,471 miles) on motorcycles for a charity, Chooseliving.org http://www.jimmaclaren.com/ to raise$100,000. Once we came to our final stop, Rockport, we picked one place for our last night of our journey. My finger scrolled over a dozen choices from my GPS, but my eyes stopped on the Seaward Inn. Something felt right and magical about this place. When we arrived at the Inn, we knew it was meant to be...so beautiful, so simple, so 1940s (I thought of the movie, Summer of 42). The next day, Doug and I were to leap off the pier across from the famous, Motif #1, to complete our Pacific to Atlantic mainland crossing. The Inn owner, Nancy, and her cousin, Alison, led us to our jump point at noon on Saturday. This is what I'm talking about...a magical, warm and friendly place. Real loving people who care and who, for 20 minutes, became our family and cheering fan club. What an ending. To the Seaward Inn, its beautiful people, and its majestic setting, thank you. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Everything was just outstanding."
